Selected Projects and Work Experience

I'm a software engineer who likes systems that are small, legible, and hard to break. Most of my work lives on the backend — APIs, data pipelines, and the unglamorous plumbing that keeps a product honest at 3 a.m.

Lately I've been making backends quieter: fewer pages, clearer failure modes, and dashboards that tell the truth. When I'm not shipping, I'm usually reading about distributed systems or rewriting something that already worked.

Northwind Systems

2023 — Present

Senior Software Engineer · Singapore

Lead the platform reliability group. Rebuilt the ingestion pipeline to handle 4× traffic with half the infrastructure, and set the SLO practice the rest of engineering now follows.

Built core billing and metering services from scratch. Owned the migration from a monolith to a handful of well-bounded services without a single billing incident.
